Pleasant Grove ministries serve the church family through leadership, worship, hospitality, missions, fellowship, discipleship, outreach, and youth development.
Board of Stewards
Spiritual lay leaders who support the church’s spiritual and financial health, assist the pastor’s vision, and help oversee sacraments, membership, revival, and evangelistic programs.
Board of Trustees
Responsible for the care, maintenance, improvement, and stewardship of the church’s buildings, property, possessions, and real estate.
Couples’ Ministry
Strengthens marriages through biblical principles, prayer, fellowship, education, workshops, outings, and encouragement for Christ-centered relationships.
Golden Teens
A fellowship for adults ages 60 and above, encouraging Christian love, friendship, service, wellness, education, and meaningful connection.
Hospitality Committee
Serves the church family through food, fellowship, atmosphere, and care during church-wide events, gatherings, and special needs.
Lay Organization
Teaches, trains, and empowers lay members for ministry, service, leadership, unity, and the extension of God’s Kingdom.
Music Department
Leads the church in worship through choirs, dance ministries, praise, and music that prepares hearts for the preached Word.
Mass Choir
Ministers through song and worship, helping create an atmosphere where the people of God can encounter His presence.
Sons of Allen
A men’s ministry of the A.M.E. Church focused on reaching men and building them into a community of Christian disciples.
Women’s Missionary Society
Provides opportunities and resources to meet the changing needs of people in the church, community, and world through service and witness.
Singles Ministry
Encourages singles to live productive, fulfilling lives in Christ through teaching, fellowship, service projects, and social activities.
Stewardess Board
Assists the pastor and Steward Board in preparing for Holy Communion, baptism, love feast, and maintaining reverence in worship.
Usher Board
Welcomes members and visitors, assists the pastor and pastoral staff, maintains order and reverence, and helps set the tone for worship.
Women of Destiny
Encourages, uplifts, builds, and nurtures women in the church and surrounding community through faith, growth, healing, and purpose.
Young People & Children’s Division
Teaches young people to serve in kingdom building through youth-focused ministry, leadership, church participation, and community involvement.
Dance Ministries
Includes youth and adult dance ministries that encourage worship, expression, and praise through movement and ministry.
