In the spring of 2011, God lead the First Lady of Pleasant Grove A.M.E. Church to approach several young people regarding a youth dance ministry.  These young people were excited about being able to minister for God through dance.  There were eight original members under the guidance of four advisors.  After some discussion and much prayer, the group was given the name of “Kingdom Redeemers.”  The purpose of this the Redeemers is to minister to God’s people through dance, mime and step.  It is an expressive way of ministering, and their foundation scripture is Psalm 150.

Through this ministry, many people have been blessed and the youth dance members themselves have grown spiritually.  As God continues to draw them closer to Him and opens doors and avenues for these young people to minister, they continue to follow the motto of our church, GOD FIRST.
